I gained my Texas Broker's license in March of 2007 and bought Lone Star Real Estate, then Eppler & Associates, shortly thereafter. Working in real estate is exciting and fun for me; and being able to help new and old friends find a home in my hometown of Andrews Texas - whether a dream home or a cozy starter home - is so rewarding. I have over 180 hours of real estate classes, have served the Andrews, Tx. Chamber of Commerce as a board member, and I am also a proud member of the Andrews, Tx. Rotary. I moved to Andrews, Tx. in 1961 from Odessa. Andrews is and always will be home. It was here that I met and married my high school sweetheart, Sam Bookout, and it was here that we raised our two beautiful daughters. I began working at Lone Star Real Estate after becoming a Realtor in June of 2007. I have been in sales and customer service for over 30 years and truly enjoy the people I get to work with in the business. I met my husband in Ruidoso, New Mexico and he moved me to Andrews, Texas, where his family has lived for over 60 years . We moved to Arizona and though I loved our time there, I am happy to be living in Andrews and Texas once again; this is a friendly and fun community with great schools and wonderful people and we are happy to be raising our two young daughters here. Andrews is a fantastic Texas town; the great schools fit the needs of our older daughter, and the activities help us wear out the little one! I became a licensed real estate agent in 1980 while working full-time for Amoco Production. After Thirty years with Amoco I began to work full time in the Andrews, Texas real estate market. I have lived in Andrews all of my life except for the years when I attended Texas Tech University and while serving in the U.S. Army in Alaska. I am proud to call Andrews home and appreciate the opportunity to serve others when buying or selling real estate. I met Maco Terry while at Texas Tech and later married her in 1972. | The Eppler family moved to Andrews, Texas, in 1945. Wayne went through all 12 grades in the Andrews school system and graduated with from Texas Tech University with a degree in Business. He has sold insurance in Andrews and the surrounding areas since 1978, and began working in the Andrews, Tx. real estate market in the early 1980`s. He owned Sheila Tom Properties from 1991 until 2007, at which time he sold the business to Debbie Bookout and he still continues to work with her today. Wayne has been active with the Andrews Chamber of Commerce, is currently an Ambassador, and is a long time member of the Andrews Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Wayne has been married to his wife Mary for 45 years; they have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. All of their children were raised in Andrews, Tx. Wayne is a Broker with 27 years of experience in Andrews, Tx. and is familiar with the local real estate conditions, and is especially knowledgeable with land and country estates. |
